Perfect Placement UK Ltd is representing a reputable automotive business in Halesowen, inviting an experienced Vehicle Technician to join its team. You will service, repair, and diagnose vehicles in a busy workshop, ensuring high standards and excellent customer service.

Ideal candidates hold NVQ Level 2 in Automotive or equivalent, with proven mechanical/fast-fit experience, strong diagnostic skills, and a valid UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Automotive or equivalent qualification.
• Proven experience in mechanical and fast-fit repairs.
• Strong diagnostic skills and experience with diagnostic equipment.
• Knowledge of tyres, brakes, suspension, exhausts, and routine servicing.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced workshop setting.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Conduct vehicle servicing, repairs, and inspections to the highest standards.
• Fit tyres and perform wheel alignments.
• Carry out brake, exhaust, battery, and suspension repairs.
• Perform MOT repairs and diagnostics using specialised equipment.
• Provide accurate vehicle fault diagnosis and effective repairs as a Vehicle Technician.
• Advise customers on additional repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Follow health & safety procedures and company vehicle inspection protocols.
• Work efficiently within a busy workshop environment, maintaining excellent customer service.
