IPS Group Limited in the United Kingdom is seeking an Insurance Development Executive to grow its Property Risks practice. This newly created role emphasizes opening doors, not servicing an inherited book, and requires proactive business development in the market.
You will cultivate relationships with Property Investors, Managing Agents, Developers, and Solicitors, attending events and building a robust sales pipeline with support from a senior property specialist.
I'm working exclusively with a specialist insurance broker looking to appoint an Insurance Development Executive to support the continued growth of an established Property Risks team.
This is a newly created role and an excellent opportunity to join a business that is investing heavily in its property proposition.
This role will suit someone who enjoys being out in the market, building relationships and creating opportunities. It is not a traditional Account Executive position where you'll inherit a book and spend your time servicing clients.
Instead, you'll be responsible for developing relationships with:
The successful individual will become a visible presence within the property sector, attending networking events, building strategic relationships and identifying opportunities with businesses that own, manage or advise on property portfolios.
You'll work closely with a highly experienced Property specialist who already has an established network and client base. The expectation is that you'll focus on opening doors, creating opportunities and building a pipeline, whilst being supported by a team that can assist with technical delivery and client servicing.
We're keen to speak with experienced Commercial Insurance professionals who have a proven track record in business development. Property experience would be advantageous, but it isn't essential. What's far more important is the ability to build credibility, develop relationships and generate new opportunities.
You’ll likely be:
In return, you’ll join a business with ambitious growth plans, an established specialist proposition and genuine support from an experienced leader within the property insurance market. You’ll have the autonomy to build your own network, make an impact and play a key role in the future growth of the team.
