Job summary

Ceredigion County Council Direct Payment Support Service in Swindon is seeking a Support Worker to join our established supported living service on Hamble Road. Sponsorship is not available for this role; candidates should be prepared for a 37.5 hour week at £14.10 per hour.

You will provide person-centered support to a lady with learning disabilities, ADHD, and complex needs, supporting independence and activities of her choosing.

Responsibilities

• You will be supporting a lady 2 to 1 who has learning disabilities, ADHD, and complex needs, with various levels of independence - it's challenging but extremely rewarding for those looking to make a real difference.
• Promoting the independence of the lady you will be supporting and taking part in her chosen activities.
• May involve occasional lone working.
• Working to maintain a high level of support that’s required for the service needs.
• Shifts will involve early mornings, late nights, nights, and weekends.
