Job summary

Octane Recruitment Ltd. is recruiting for an MOT Technician at a fast-fit automotive centre in Poole. The role involves completing MOTs and light repair work, with training provided to gain qualifications in IMI and Hybrid systems.

Qualifications

• MUST have a valid MOT licence and MOT tester experience.
• Experience as a Vehicle Technician is preferred but not required.
• Employer will support Level 3 IMI and Hybrid qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Complete MOTs on customer vehicles.
• Perform light and full-service work.
• Support fast-fit duties when required.
• Collaborate with workshop and other centre departments to meet targets.

Job description

Our client who is one of the UK’s fastest growing fast-fit automotive business, are currently looking for a MOT Technician based at their retail centre in Poole Barter Road.

As a MOT Technician would be responsible for completing MOTs on customers cars, as well as other light repair work. To be applicable for this role you must have a valid MOT licence, as well as experience working as a Vehicle Technician.

You do not need to be a qualified technician for this role. Our client is happy to put you through your qualifications!

OTE: Uncapped and realistic £3,600

Shift and schedule: 08:30 - 17:30 Monday to Friday; Saturdays 08:30 - 16:00 on a rota with a day off in the week.

To be a MOT Technician you will need:

• Valid UK driving licence - Essential
• Experience working as a Vehicle Technician (no qualifications needed)
• Experience as an MOT Tester
• A valid MOT licence - Essential
• Have a passion for the Automotive industry and want to develop further
• Want to learn and develop your knowledge of Hybrid cars
