Job summary

Octane Recruitment Ltd seeks an MOT Technician for a fast-fit automotive client at their Southam centre. You will complete MOTs, perform light service work, and support the workshop to hit targets while following correct DVSA procedures.

Applicants must hold a valid MOT licence and driving licence with MOT testing experience. The client offers training to achieve Level 3 IMI & Hybrid qualifications and strong career progression.

Qualifications

• Valid UK driving licence – Essential.
• Experience as a Vehicle Technician (not necessarily qualified).
• Experience completing MOTs on customer vehicles.
• Willing to train and obtain Level 3 qualifications (IMI & Hybrid).

Responsibilities

• Complete MOTs on customer vehicles.
• Perform light and full-service work as required.
• Collaborate with workshop to meet targets and inform service/parts teams.
• Ensure DVSA processes are correctly followed.

Our client who is one of the UK’s fastest growing fast-fit automotive business, are currently looking for a MOT Technician based at their retail centre in Southam

As a MOT Technician would be responsible for completing MOTs on customers cars, as well as other light repair work. To be applicable for this role you must have a valid MOT licence, as well as experience working as a Vehicle Technician.

You do not need to be a qualified technician for this role. Our client is happy to put you through your qualifications!

Location: Southam

OTE: Uncapped and realistic £3,600

Shift and schedule: 08:30 – 17:30 Monday to Friday; Saturdays 08:30 – 16:00 on a rota with a day off in the week.

To be a MOT Technician you will need:

• Valid UK driving licence – Essential
• Experience working as a Vehicle Technician (no qualifications needed)
• Experience as an MOT Tester
• A valid MOT licence – Essential
• Have a passion for the Automotive industry and want to develop further
• Want to learn and develop your knowledge of Hybrid cars
