Job summary

AESN LIMITED is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to assist residents with daily activities, personal care, and mobility in a compassionate, person-centred manner. You will follow care plans, provide companionship, help with meals, and maintain accurate records.

The role requires excellent English, teamwork and the ability to work independently. Prior care experience is preferred; Enhanced DBS and Moving and Handling training are required after interview.

Qualifications

• Experience in supported living or care home settings preferred.
• Ability to follow care plans accurately.
• Strong English communication, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

Job description

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility
• Support individuals with their care plans, ensuring personalised needs are met with compassion and respect
• Provide companionship and emotional support to residents or clients
• Help with meal preparation and assist during mealtimes as required
• Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any concerns to senior staff
• Support with light domestic tasks to ensure a clean and safe environment
• Drive or accompany residents on outings or appointments, where necessary
• Adhere to health and safety policies, including infection control procedures

Skills and Requirements:

• Experience working in a Supported living or care homes or providing home care is advantageous; online trainings will be provided
• Knowledge of care plans and the ability to follow them accurately
• Good IT skills for maintaining records and documentation
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
• Compassionate attitude with strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively within a team and independently when required
• Organised, reliable, and attentive to detail in all aspects of care delivery

Job Types: Temporary, Zero hours contract - Shifts of upto 40 hours a week available

Experience:
