Job summary

AESN LIMITED is seeking a compassionate Support Worker Assistant to provide high-quality care in care homes or home care settings. You will assist residents with daily activities, follow care plans, and offer companionship.

The role is temporary with zero-hours shifts up to 40 hours per week. Strong English communication and teamwork are essential, with a caring attitude and reliability. Experience in supported living or care homes is advantageous; training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility
• Support individuals with their care plans, ensuring personalised needs are met with compassion and respect
• Provide companionship and emotional support to residents or clients
• Help with meal preparation and assist during mealtimes as required
• Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any concerns to senior staff
• Support with light domestic tasks to ensure a clean and safe environment
• Drive or accompany residents on outings or appointments, where necessary
• Adhere to health and safety policies, including infection control procedures
