AESN LIMITED is seeking a compassionate Support Worker Assistant to join our care team in the United Kingdom. The role focuses on delivering high-quality care in care homes or home care settings, supporting residents with daily activities and personal needs.

The position is temporary with zero-hours contracts and shifts up to 40 hours per week. Excellent English communication and a caring attitude are essential.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of care plans and the ability to follow them accurately.
  • Good IT skills for maintaining records and documentation.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  • Compassionate attitude with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and independently when required.
  • Organised, reliable, and attentive to detail in all aspects of care delivery.
  • Support Worker: 1 year (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility
  • Support individuals with their care plans, ensuring personalised needs are met with compassion and respect
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to residents or clients
  • Help with meal preparation and assist during mealtimes as required
  • Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any concerns to senior staff
  • Support with light domestic tasks to ensure a clean and safe environment
  • Drive or accompany residents on outings or appointments, where necessary
  • Adhere to health and safety policies, including infection control procedures
