Job summary

AESN LIMITED is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker Assistant to join our care team. You will provide high-quality care and support to individuals in care homes or receiving home care services, helping with daily activities, personal care, and companionship, while maintaining dignity and respect.

The role is temporary with zero-hours contracts and shifts up to 40 hours per week. Training is provided online, and you’ll work both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Experience in care settings is advantageous.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Knowledge of care plans and recording care details.
• 1 year experience in care roles preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility
• Support individuals with their care plans, ensuring personalised needs are met with compassion and respect
• Provide companionship and emotional support to residents or clients
• Help with meal preparation and assist during mealtimes as required
• Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any concerns to senior staff
• Support with light domestic tasks to ensure a clean and safe environment
• Drive or accompany residents on outings or appointments, where necessary
• Adhere to health and safety policies, including infection control procedures
