Job summary

Brook Street in Stoke Bruerne is seeking casual weekend staff to join the café, retail, and admissions teams. You will deliver a high standard of service, help visitors, and contribute to a memorable visit through friendly engagement and knowledge about the attraction.

Shifts are ad hoc with extra hours during school holidays; you’ll work across café, retail and welcome desk, including stock handling and helping with stock takes, always focusing on quick, helpful responses to enquiries.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or hospitality is preferred.
• Ability to assist visitors and respond to enquiries quickly.

Responsibilities

• Provide an excellent customer experience whether serving in the café, providing expert knowledge about the attraction, selling retail items, or ensuring every visitor feels welcomed and keen to return after a memorable visit, through great engagement & service
• Help with preparation of food for the Café.
• Ensure that customer excellence is always a priority, by responding quickly and efficiently to questions and dealing with enquiries, particularly when on the welcome desk, or by phone/email
• Demonstrate a flexible approach to the rota to work across departments involving café, retail, and admissions/welcome desk & conferences.
• Work as a team to ensure retail and catering stock is kept up to date, replaced, recorded, and help to prepare any stocktaking counts.
