Job summary

Raymond Care Group Ltd in Ashford, Kent is seeking a Registered Manager for a new domiciliary care service. The role is part-time / flexible during start-up and CQC registration stages. The successful candidate will help establish a high-quality service to support people in their own homes.

Initial hours are flexible with potential to increase as the service develops. You will work closely with directors and help ensure readiness to commence regulated activity, guiding policies and care systems

Qualifications

• Has prior experience as a Registered Manager within domiciliary care.
• Strong understanding of CQC requirements.
• Has the relevant qualifications and experience for the role.

Ashford, Kent | Part-Time / Flexible

A new domiciliary care service in Ashford is looking for an experienced Registered Manager to join us during the start-up and CQC registration stage.

This is an exciting opportunity to become involved with a new care service from the early stages and play an important role in establishing a high-quality service for people in their own homes.

The role will initially be part-time and flexible, with the opportunity for the role to develop as the service becomes operational and grows.

The role will include:

• Supporting the CQC registration process
• Providing Registered Manager oversight
• Advising on policies, procedures and care systems
• Helping ensure the service is ready to commence regulated activity
• Working closely with the directors during the start-up phase
• Taking responsibility for the regulated activity once operational
• Supporting the ongoing quality and development of the service

We're looking for someone who:

• Has previous experience as a Registered Manager within domiciliary care
• Has a strong understanding of CQC requirements
• Has the relevant qualifications and experience for the role
• Is organised, reliable and approachable
• Is confident working independently
• Would enjoy being involved in building a new care service from the ground up

Hours: Flexible, initially as required, with the opportunity for hours to increase as the service develops.
