Job summary

Manpower UK Limited is assisting a reputable manufacturer in South Oxford with the recruitment of a Production Operative. You will join a team focused on building, testing and inspecting marine products in a safety-conscious environment.

You will assist in assembly, finishing and bonding of boats, using power and hand tools, and work to production schedules under the guidance of your supervisor. A couple of years’ hands-on experience is valued, with driving required due to location.

• Practical experience in a manufacturing/workshop environment with power/hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the assembly and finishing of moulded parts to high workmanship standards.
• Support preparation of mouldings to meet production schedules.
• Help in preparation and bonding of boats, including cutting, grinding and flow coating bonded boats.
• Contribute to the manufacturing process across stages as directed by line supervisor.
• Support production of sub-assemblies when required.
• Assist in training new team members and other personnel.
• Maintain a clean and organised workstation.
• Follow health and safety procedures and company policies.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by senior management.

Monday to Friday, 7 - 3.00pm, Bonus, 25 days holiday, Private Healthcare & Pension and social club and activities. You must be able to drive due to the location.
