Job summary

Our client in South Oxfordshire is seeking a Production Operative to join their team and contribute to the build, test, and inspection of marine products in a safety-conscious environment.

You will assist in assembly and finishing of moulded parts, prepare mouldings to schedule, bond boats, support sub-assemblies, train new team members, maintain a clean workstation, and follow health and safety procedures. Driving is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing or workshop environment with basic tool use.
• Able to work independently and proactively.

• Good communication and ability to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assist in assembly and finishing of moulded parts to high workmanship standards.
• Prepare mouldings to meet production schedules.
• Bond boats and perform cutting, grinding, and flow coating of bonded boats.
• Support manufacturing across stages under line supervisor guidance.
• Assist in training new team members and other personnel.
• Maintain a clean and organised workstation.
• Follow health and safety procedures and company policies.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by senior management.

Our client, a reputable manufacturing company is hiring a dedicated Production Operative to join their team in South Oxford. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the build, test, and inspection of high-quality marine products in a supportive and safety-conscious environment.

What you'll be doing:

• Assist in the assembly and finishing of moulded parts, ensuring high workmanship standards.
• Support the preparation of mouldings to meet production schedules.
• Help in the preparation and bonding of boats, including cutting, grinding, and flow coating bonded boats.
• Contribute to the manufacturing process across various stages as directed by your line supervisor.
• Support the production of sub-assemblies when required.
• Assist in training new team members and other personnel.
• Maintain a clean and organised workstation.
• Follow health and safety procedures and company policies at all times.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by senior management.

Additional information:
