Job summary

Edge Recruits in Plymouth is recruiting multiple Assembly Operatives to join a globally recognised engineering business. You will assemble mechanical and electrical components, test parts, and follow detailed instructions to deliver high-quality products for customers worldwide.

Full training is provided and there are genuine progression opportunities. This role offers rotating shifts 06:00-14:00 and 14:00-22:00, Monday to Friday, a generous holiday allowance, pension, life cover, and well-being

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years consistent experience within a manufacturing, production, or assembly environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
• Reliable attendance and ability to work rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical and electrical components to engineering specifications.
• Carry out production processes including washing, lapping, assembly, testing, and painting.
• Follow detailed instructions to deliver products to high quality standards.
• Adhere to health, safety, quality and environmental procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and contribute to a positive team.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical and electrical components to precise engineering specifications.
• Carry out various production processes including washing, lapping, assembly, testing, and painting.

About You

Essential
