Job summary

Manpower Group (UK) is assisting a reputable company in South Oxfordshire to recruit a Sub-Assembly Operative. You will help manufacture, test and inspect sub-assemblies, following drawings and work instructions to ensure quality.

The role offers standard hours (7:00am–3:00pm), with full training provided, 23 days holiday, a yearly bonus, Bupa Healthcare and a contributed Pension, plus free parking.

Qualifications

• Reading drawings and following instructions is advantageous.
• General education and basic workshop knowledge.
• Good communication and organisation are important.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the manufacture, testing, and inspection of sub-assemblies under the guidance of the Cell Leader and Logistics Manager.
• Follow work instructions and drawings to ensure accurate assembly.
• Maintain a clean and organised workstation, tools, and equipment, including PPE.
• Adhere to health and safety policies and company procedures.
• Support other manufacturing activities as required to meet production targets.
• Ensure quality standards through good workmanship and attention to detail.
• Carry out tasks assigned by senior management, showing flexibility and teamwork.

Are you looking for a hands-on role in a supportive manufacturing environment? My client a reputable company in South Oxfordshire, is hiring for a dedicated Sub-Assembly Operative to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the production of high-quality components in a friendly, team-oriented setting.

What you'll be doing:

• Assist in the manufacture, testing, and inspection of sub-assemblies under the guidance of the Cell Leader and Logistics Manager
• Follow work instructions and drawings to ensure accurate assembly
• Maintain a clean and organised workstation, tools, and equipment, including PPE
• Adhere strictly to health and safety policies and company procedures
