Job summary

TipTopJob is hiring a professional HGV driver in Widnes to deliver and collect chemicals safely, alongside a trainer. You will receive PPE before starting, and each week offers diverse jobs with pay based on hours worked per tachograph data.

Responsibilities

• Learn to safely deliver and collect a range of chemicals with trainer.
• Receive PPE before start and work alongside experienced drivers.
• Jobs rotated throughout the week; notify delays or issues promptly.
• Paid for every hour worked, including breaks, per tachograph data.

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

Location: Widnes

Working Hours: Monday:Friday, with 4 nights out a week

Salary: A GBP 62,500 per year based on 10 hours OT/week, 4 nights out and A GBP 2,400 of bonuses : more if weekends and additional overtime are worked

The Role

Youll start out alongside one of our experienced HGV driver trainers, learning how to safely deliver and collect a range of chemicals.

• All PPE for your training is issued to you before you start.
• Every week brings a different job : no two days are the same.
• Youre paid for every hour worked, as per your tachograph, including breaks.
• Jobs are allocated throughout the week by email and our transport team, so good communication : flagging any delays, issues, or relevant info : keeps everything running smoothly.
