Job summary

Fifth Wheel Recruitment is recruiting for Class 1 Tanker Drivers in Skelmersdale to work with a natural spring water supplier. Role involves operating HGV Class 1 Tanker (Non ADR) with early starts and some nights out (£25 per night).

Requirements include a Class 1 licence with 12 months' experience, UK DCPC and Digi-tacho cards, and compliance with WTD. Weekly pay and overtime opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Class 1 Driving Licence and at least 12 months' experience driving commercially.
• UK DCPC card holder.
• Digi-tacho card holder.
• No DD, TT, DR, CD, IN endorsements on licence.
• Up-to-date with WTD regulations.

Responsibilities

• Operating HGV Class 1 Tanker (Non ADR).
• Carrying out routine vehicle checks and maintaining cab/trailer cleanliness.
• Ensuring loads are placed and secured correctly.
• Completing daily paperwork accurately.
• Adhering to site safety procedures and high work standards.

Pay Rate:£18.29 to £24.50 p/h

£18.29 + £2.21 holiday pay = £20.50

£21.86 + £2.64 holiday pay = £24.50.

Working Hours:Monday to Friday - 06:00 starts - Some nights out required (£25 per night)

Experience:12 months Class 1 essential

Assessment:Yes - required before start (full Tanker training provided)

Class 1 Tanker Driver - Role & Responsibilities:

• Operating HGV Class 1 Tanker(Non ADR)

• Ensuring all loads are placed and secured correctly
• Completing daily paperwork accurately

About you:

You will have your Class 1 Driving Licence and at least 12 months experience driving commercially. You must also have your UK DCPC card and a valid Digi-tacho card.Our client may accept up to 6 points on your licence, but we can not acceptDD, TT, DR, CD, INendorsements. As a professional Driver, you will be up to date with the WTD regulations.

You will be a UK resident and will be able to travel to and from the site for your shift. We are unable to assist with VISA applications and cannot assist with relocation.
