Job summary

Fifth Wheel Recruitment are seeking a Class 1 Tanker Driver (non ADR) for a site in Blackpool. You will operate HGV Class 1 Tanker vehicles, perform routine checks and ensure loads are secured in line with site safety procedures.

The role requires at least 12 months of commercial driving, a UK DCPC card and a Digi-tacho, and a clean licence (up to 6 points considered; DD, TT, DR, CD, IN not accepted). Nights out may be required, with £25 per night out. Immediate starts and weekly pay offered.

• Up to 6 points accepted; not eligible for DD/TT/DR/CD/IN endorsements.

Class 1 Tanker Driver - Role & Responsibilities:

• Operating HGV Class 1 Tanker (Non ADR)


• Routine vehicle checks and maintaining trailer and cab cleanliness


• Ensuring all loads are placed and secured correctly


• All applicants are expected to complete work to a high standard while following site safety procedures.

About you:

• You will have your Class 1 Driving Licence and at least 12 months experience driving commercially. You must also have your UK DCPC card and a valid Digi-tacho card. Our client may accept up to 6 points on your licence, but we can not accept DD, TT, DR, CD, IN endorsements. As a professional Driver, you will be up to date with the WTD regulations.


• You will be a UK resident and will be able to travel to and from the site for your shift. We are unable to assist with VISA applications and cannot assist with relocation.
