Job summary

HCRG Staffing is seeking a Therapeutic Radiographer to deliver high-quality radiotherapy treatments, supporting diagnosis, treatment and recovery across clinical specialties. You will work with multidisciplinary teams to provide patient-centred care upholding professional standards.

The ideal candidate holds a Therapeutic Radiography degree (or equivalent) with 2+ years of experience in a clinical setting, and is proficient with planning systems and radiotherapy equipment.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree or postgraduate qualification in Therapeutic Radiography, or equivalent recognised qualification
• Typically, 2 or more years of experience working as a Therapeutic Radiographer within a clinical or hospital environment

Responsibilities

• Planning and preparing radiotherapy treatment sessions
• Administering radiotherapy treatments safely and accurately
• Monitoring patient response during and after treatment
• Maintaining detailed and accurate records of treatments delivered
• Ensuring the correct positioning and immobilisation of patients for each session
• Providing support and reassurance to patients before, during and after treatment
• Collaborating with oncologists, medical physicists, and other healthcare professionals
• Participating in quality assurance and safety procedures
• Assisting in the education and training of junior staff and students
• Keeping up to date with advancements in radiotherapy techniques and equipment
