Personal Assistant (Social Care) Sevenoaks

We are looking for a caring, reliable, and enthusiastic Personal Assistant to support our sweet‑natured and gentle 18‑year‑old son who has special needs.

This role would suit someone who is patient, kind, energetic, and enjoys helping a young person get the most out of life. Our son loves spending time out in the community, particularly attending clubs during school holidays, going for meals and treats such as McDonald\'s, and enjoying various activities and outings.

Duties may include:

• Supporting and encouraging participation in activities and outings
• Providing companionship and meaningful interaction
• Assisting with light household tasks relating to our son
• Supporting him to keep his bedroom and toys tidy
• Supporting his daily routine and helping him maintain a safe, comfortable environment

Experience of supporting individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) would be beneficial, but we welcome applications from people with the right personal qualities and a willingness to learn.

We are also proud owners of a lovely therapy dog who is very much part of our family, so applicants should be comfortable around dogs.

This post is subject to an enhanced DBS check (cost covered by employer) and references.

Shift Pattern

Hours are – 8-20 hours between Monday to Sunday. Times to be agreed.
