Team Manager to join a not-for-profit adult social care organisation supporting people with disabilities, autism and mental health support needs.
As a Team Manager, you willlead and manage a registered care service, ensuring person-centred support, effective team leadership, safety and regulatory compliance.
This full-time role offers salary of £40,000 for 37.5 work hours and benefits.
You will be responsible for:
- Leading, coaching and developing colleagues in person-centred support practices and approaches.
- Managing risks effectively by ensuring individual needs, preferences and priorities are understood, with families involved where appropriate.
- Overseeing personalised rota planning across day, night and overnight support to reflect the needs, interests and goals of the people supported.
- Managing key working responsibilities and supporting individuals through referral, assessment and review processes.
- Developing person-centred support plans that reflect lifestyle choices, support networks and what is important to each individual.
- Promoting greater choice, independence and control for the people supported.
- Monitoring quality and safety measures, completing required audits and ensuring resources are managed effectively.
- Addressing concerns promptly and maintaining high standards across the service.
What we are looking for:
- Previously worked as a Team Manager, Service manager, Supported living manager or in a similar role.
- Experience supporting people with learning disabilities.
- Background embedding person-centred approaches within a care setting.
- Knowledge of CQC regulations, Essential Care Standards, safeguarding and relevant regulatory frameworks.
- A track record of promoting choice and control for people with learning disabilities.
- Understanding of the challenges that people with disabilities may experience.
- Proven ability to lead, manage and motivate a team.
