Job summary

Lavoro Care is seeking a Children's Residential Support Worker in the United Kingdom to support children and young people with Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties. You will help them build confidence, develop life skills, and create brighter futures.

The role involves providing a safe, nurturing environment, building positive relationships, supporting daily routines and activities, and encouraging independence within a dedicated team.

Qualifications

• 6+ months UK experience in children's residential care.
• Experience supporting children with EBD and challenging behaviour.
• Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
• Caring, resilient and positive attitude.
• Flexibility for evenings, weekends and sleep-ins.

We're looking for Children's Residential Support Workers to support children and young people with Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) and challenging behaviours. • Providing a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment
• Building positive relationships and acting as a positive role model
• Supporting young people with daily routines, education, and activities

• Working as part of a dedicated team to achieve the best outcomes for every child

What We're Looking For:

• A minimum of 6 months' UK experience working in Children's Residential Care
• Experience supporting children with EBD and challenging behaviour
• A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (essential)
• A caring, resilient, and positive attitude
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and sleep‑ins (where required)

Requirements:

• Enhanced DBS check required (Portable DBS certificates are accepted)
• Right to work in the UK
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
