Job summary

Lavoro Care is seeking a Children’s Residential Support Worker to help young people in outdoor residential and activity settings across Wales. You’ll support daily routines, wellbeing, and personal development while modelling calm, respectful behaviour.

Applicants should have at least 6 months’ UK experience in children's residential care, a positive, energetic attitude, and a full UK driving licence. Enhanced DBS is required and flexible shifts may include evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins.

Qualifications

  • 6 months' UK experience in Children's Residential Care.
  • Experience supporting children with EBD and challenging behaviours.
  • A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (essential).
  • Enhanced DBS check required (Portable DBS certificates are welcomed)
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins where required.

Children's Residential Support Worker – Outdoor & Activity Centres

We're looking for enthusiastic, resilient, and caring Children's Residential Support Workers to join our team in outdoor residential and activity centre settings, supporting children and young people with Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) and challenging behaviours.

No two days are the same! From woodland walks and campfires to climbing walls, team-building challenges, and outdoor adventures, you'll be helping young people develop confidence, resilience, and life skills while creating unforgettable experiences.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Supporting children and young people in outdoor residential settings
  • Encouraging participation in adventure and activity-based programmes

What We're Looking For:
