Job summary

Esland is hiring a Children's Residential Support Worker to provide nurturing care in our homes. The role includes crisis intervention, trauma-informed support, and facilitating activities that help children reach positive outcomes.

You will work a 2-on 4-off pattern with sleep-ins, require a full UK driving licence and the right to work in the UK. Overtime may be available, and progression into senior roles is offered.

Pay rate: £34,402 - £35,025 per annum (based 8 sleeps per month and an hourly rate of £13.45 - £13.75 per hour). Opportunities to pick up overtime at enhanced rate.

Hours: 173 hours per month - the most common shift pattern is 2 days on, 4 days off, with sleep in’s (shifts may vary). Rotas given in advance. We are a 365 day a year service due to the nature of our work.

The Role

Our homes offer crisis intervention and trauma informed therapeutic care. Our young people receive the highest quality residential care and take part in recreational activities tailored to the child’s interests e.g. cinema, swimming and sports, etc.
