Job summary

Esland is seeking a Children's Residential Support Worker at The Brambles - Melton Mowbray. You will work in a 365-day residential setting, delivering crisis intervention and trauma-informed care to children. The role includes shifts, some sleep-ins, and a monthly rota with 173 hours on average.

A driving licence and right to work in the UK are required, with a minimum age of 21. Salary £34,402–£35,025 per year, plus overtime at enhanced rates.

Compensation

£34,402 - £35,025 / year

Pay rate

£34,402 - £35,025 per annum (based 8 sleeps per month and an hourly rate of £13.45 - £13.75 per hour). Opportunities to pick up overtime at enhanced rate.

Hours

173 hours per month - the most common shift pattern is 2 days on, 4 days off, with sleep in’s (shifts may vary). Rotas given in advance. We are a 365 day a year service due to the nature of our work.

The Role

Our homes offer crisis intervention and trauma informed therapeutic care. Our young people receive the highest quality residential care and take part in recreational activities tailored to the child’s interests e.g. cinema, swimming and sports, etc.
