Long-Term Contract & Maternity Cover (£150 - £220 per day):

For specialists seeking a stable, full-scale teaching post. These roles involve full planning, marking, and wider departmental responsibilities, offering a higher daily rate that reflects your expert contribution to student success.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver engaging English Language and Literature lessons that support and challenge all learners.

Assess, monitor, and report on student progress with constructive feedback aligned to school standards.

Cultivate a dynamic classroom environment while maintaining strong, positive behavior management.

Collaborate with colleagues on lesson handovers, shared resources, and student progress updates.

Contribute positively to the wider school community while adhering to all school policies.

Requirements

Full Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree in English.

Proven experience teaching English across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (GCSE).

Ability to quickly adapt to existing schemes of work and build rapport with students.

An inspiring classroom presence with excellent behavioral management skills.
