Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience operating CNC machines in production environments.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Proficiency with precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges).

• Experience CAD/CAM software (Siemens NX, Mastercam).

Responsibilities

• Maximising effectiveness of machine tools to demand.
• Drive productivity improvement on CNCs through better tooling, program design, and automation.
• Set up and operate CNC machines (lathes, mills, drills) according to job requirements.
• Load raw materials and verify tooling setup.
• Interpret technical drawings and ensure dimensional accuracy.
• Perform in-process inspections using precision measuring instruments.
• Monitor machine performance and report issues promptly.
• Apply lean principles and suggest process improvements.
