Job summary

Gedling Borough Council is hiring a part-time Receptionist for Arnold Leisure Centre in NG5 7EE. The role covers 17 hours per week, including Monday evenings and Sunday daytime shifts, handling bookings and signing members into the centre.

You will promote DNA Fitness Memberships, enroll learners on the Swim Scheme and assist with centre admin while delivering good customer service and using leisure IT software.

Job description

The successful candidate will work 17 hours per week as follows:

Monday 14.15 – 21.30

Sunday 07.30 – 17.15

Our Receptionists play an essential role in the day-to-day running of the leisure centre. They are responsible for all front of house duties including taking bookings and signing members into the building, as well as selling DNA Fitness Memberships and enrolling learners onto our extremely popular Swim Scheme. Our reception team also work behind the scenes to prospect potential new members, deal with enquires and centre administration.

Candidates must have a good level of customer service, have experience in dealing with members of the public and be confident in using Leisure related IT software.
