Job summary

Perfect Recruitment are partnering with a quality restaurant in the Rufford / Ormskirk area to recruit an experienced Chef de Partie to join their kitchen team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a chef who enjoys working with fresh, quality ingredients and takes pride in producing consistently high-quality food.

The role involves preparing and cooking to a high standard, maintaining presentation, supporting the Sous Chef and Head Chef, and ensuring top hygiene, stock control and wastage

Qualifications

• Experience as Chef de Partie or strong Commis Chef aiming to progress.
• Solid fresh food/quality restaurant background.
• Good knowledge of food hygiene and kitchen procedures.
• Reliable and well organised; able to work under pressure.
• Passion for producing quality food.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook fresh food to a high standard.
• Maintain excellent food quality and presentation.
• Support Sous Chef and Head Chef for smooth kitchen operation.
• Ensure high standards of hygiene, food safety and cleanliness.
• Manage stock levels and minimise wastage.
• Support and mentor junior team members.
• Work effectively as part of a busy kitchen brigade.

About You

• Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Commis Chef ready to progress
• Solid fresh food / quality restaurant background
• Good knowledge of food hygiene and kitchen procedures
• Reliable, organised and able to work well under pressure
• A genuine passion for producing quality food
• Drivers preferred due to the location
