Job summary

G-Tem Wales in Oakworth is seeking a Production Operative to work on a robotic welding line. You will load and unload press components, operate pedestal welders, and aim to meet hourly targets set by the team leader.

Your duties include quality checks, accurate labelling, and basic maintenance of robots and machines. You will follow safety guidelines, complete timesheets, keep the work area clean, and be ready to support other reasonable requests.

Responsibilities

Load and unload press components on a robotic line and automatic weld machine.
Operate pedestal welders.
Complete hourly targets set by the team leader to meet customer requirements.
Carry out quality checks as per the checklist and log details for records.
Ensure all completed assemblies are labelled correctly.
Carry out basic maintenance including tip dressing, tool changes, setting and resetting of robots and machines.
Follow instructions to ensure maximum effectiveness and adhere to safety guidelines.
Be prepared to undertake and support other reasonable requests.
Complete timesheets to account for uptime/downtime daily.
Keep area and machines clean and tidy throughout the day.
Follow production operating instructions to ensure quality products are sent to customers.

To follow process/production operating instructions to ensure quality products are sent to our customers.
