Job summary

A leading recruitment firm in the UK is seeking a Robot Welder to join their team in Sandbach. The role involves loading mild steel components, operating robots, and maintaining quality inspections. Responsibilities

  • General housekeeping duties as required.
  • Crane licence (advantageous).

The Role

As Robot Welder the main duties include:

  • Loading of mild steel components into jigs and fixtures using clamps to hold parts into place;
  • Manually operate robot(s) making basic corrections;
  • Visual inspection of parts;
  • Ability to work to and maintain proven run times;
  • General housekeeping duties as required;
  • Some welding experience and knowledge of programme setting an advantage.

The role consists of a basic 38 hour working week (shift work will be required). Rates depending upon skills and experience.

  • Ability to read and understanding engineering drawings;
  • Experience working within a fast paced engineering environment;
  • Good communications skills at all levels;
  • Works well under pressure;
  • IT literate;
  • Flexible in their approach and attitude.
