Job summary

BlueGate Consulting is seeking a skilled Welder to join our Luton plant. You will weld components and sub-assemblies to coded standards using TIG, MMA, and MAG processes, reading drawings and following procedures to ensure quality.

You will set up weld surfaces and equipment, log work in the ERP system, maintain stock levels, and support continuous improvement while upholding 5S and health and safety on site.

The role operates on a double day shift pattern to meet production targets.

Qualifications

• Time served welding apprenticeship.
• Minimum 5 years' experience as a coded welder in an engineering environment.
• Ability to weld to coded standards.
• Experience with TIG (GTAW), MMA/SMAW and MAG (GMAW) welding processes.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and welding procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Previous experience in torch or induction brazing would be desirable.
