Job summary

Manpower UK Limited in Northwich is recruiting HGV Class 1 drivers for our client. The role offers a monthly Class 1 supplement of £1,439.88 and is based on a 60-hour cap with a 48-hour rolling average.

Typical shifts start at 3:00 AM or 7:00 AM with 10-hour days, 5 days per week, and a pattern allowing up to 6 days in 7 when required, including Sundays.

Routes cover Glasgow to Essex with long-distance customer deliveries and paperwork compliance.

Qualifications

• Category C+E (Class 1) licence.
• Minimum 2 years' Class 1 driving experience within the last 3 years.
• Driver CPC card.
• Strong understanding of tachograph legislation.
• Flexible and reliable approach to work.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service and act as a professional ambassador for the business.
• Complete all paperwork and electronic documentation accurately.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and personal presentation standards.
• Ensure compliance with all transport legislation, including Tachograph regulations, WTD, Driver CPC requirements.
• Load security and weight checks.
• Support regular and relief delivery routes as required.
• Drive safely and professionally, adhering to the Highway Code and speed limits.
• Champion Health & Safety standards at all times.

Manpower are recruiting HGV Cat C+E Class 1 Drivers for our client based in Northwich.

Class 1 supplement of £1,439.88

• Paid

monthly

3:00 AM and 7:00 AM

• Typical shifts are around

10 hours

• Average of

5 days per week, with up to

6 days out of 7 when required

• Working pattern covers

Sunday to Saturday

• Average of

48 hours per week over a rolling 26-week reference period

• Maximum of

60 hours in a single week where required

• Fixed rota pattern with schedules published

Routes & Deliveries

• Long-distance routes covering areas from

Glasgow to Essex

• Class 1 customer delivery work with
• Following planned routes and schedules to provide consistent customer service
• Managing shop fixtures and deliveries in line with customer requirements

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• Valid
