Job summary

Talent Solutions Staffing UK in Northwich is seeking an experienced HGV Driver to join a leading food manufacturing business. You will drive Class 1 (C+E) vehicles, deliver to customers and distribution sites, and uphold safety and service standards.

You will work days Monday to Friday with an average of 48 hours per week, and receive a competitive salary with a Class 1 driving supplement along with ongoing training in a modern fleet.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• 2 years' Class 1 driving experience in last 3 years.
• Current Driver CPC qualification.
• Good understanding of tachograph and driver hours regulations.
• Strong focus on safety, compliance and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Drive Class 1 (C+E) vehicles safely, following planned routes and schedules.
• Deliver products accurately and on time while providing great customer service.
• Complete delivery paperwork and use digital systems as required.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
• Follow all transport regulations, including Drivers' Hours, WTD, tachograph, and load security requirements.
