Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions Limited is recruiting two Mobile Air Conditioning Engineers to service clients across Newcastle Upon Tyne and surrounding districts. The role involves hands-on maintenance of VRV/VRF systems, chillers, and split units with a mobile setup.

You will work Mon-Fri with on-call duty, enjoy a competitive £38k-£44k salary, 25 days leave, and opportunities for training and progression within a facilities management environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Air Conditioning Engineer or similar role within the facilities management industry.
• Hold your F-Gas Cat 1 Regulations certification.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair techniques.
• Familiarity with refrigeration principles and equipment.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical faults.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Effective communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, service and troubleshoot a variety of air conditioning systems, including split systems, VRV/VRF systems, and chillers.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning coils, replacing filters, moving parts, to prolong the lifespan of HVAC equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults in air conditioning units, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.
• Conduct inspections and assessments of HVAC systems to identify potential issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Collaborate with other maintenance personnel and contractors to coordinate complex repairs and system upgrades.
• Adhere to safety protocols and industry regulations to promote a safe working environment.

Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer - Newcastle Upon Tyne - HVAC Contractor: Commercial, Industrial & Public Sector

CBW Staffing Solutions are seeking two skilled Air Conditioning Engineers to join our client's team of facilities management professionals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC maintenance and repair, responsible for maintaining and servicing air conditioning systems to ensure optimal performance and end-client satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will have experience of industrial cooling and commissioning VRV/VRF air handling units.

These are both mobile roles, covering Tyne & Wear, County Durham & Teesside areas.

Package:

• Competitive salary between £38,000 - £44,000 per annum (depending on experience)
• Core hours are Monday - Friday (40 hours per week)
• Participation in an 'out of hours' on call rota (to be confirmed)
