Job summary

Aberdeenshire Council Education and Children's Services premises require a cleaner to perform cleaning duties with a flexible pattern. A Living Wage Supplement is applied to those earning below £13.45 per hour. The post includes PVG Scheme checks and other pre-employment verifications.

Qualifications

• This post is regulated work with Children and/or Protected Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007.
• The candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check.
• Where an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more outwith the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required.
• A confirmed offer of employment and commencement in the post will be subject to the outcome of both these pre-employment checks being deemed satisfactory.
• This post has a minimum requirement of one reference which must be your current or most recent employer.

Carry out cleaning duties in Aberdeenshire Council Education and Children's Services premises.

There is a responsibility for the post holder to demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement for the benefit of the Service and the organisation.

Aberdeenshire Council currently applies a Living Wage Supplement to all Council employees earning less than £13.45 per hour.

Working pattern: This post can be flexi, 6.00am till 8.00am Monday to Friday or Monday and Tuesday 03.40pm till 5.52pm, Wednesday and Friday 3.00pm till 5.12pm
