Job summary

Active Care Group is seeking a dedicated in-home care worker to support a female client with a spinal cord injury in her own home in Milton Keynes. You will move into the client’s home and provide personal care, mobility assistance, and help with domestic tasks.

Assignments are 2 weeks long with rolling rotas; the role is on a zero-hours contract to reflect changing care packages. A full UK driving licence is required to enable flexible travel.

Qualifications

• Must have a full UK driving licence.
• Experience in personal care and moving and handling is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care in the client’s home (washing, dressing, toileting).
• Assist with moving and handling and mobility.
• Support domestic tasks and social activities.
• Contribute to continuity of care with regular weekly shifts.

You will move into the client's home and support her with personal care (including washing, dressing and toileting), moving and handling, domestic tasks and social activities.

When you'll be working:

Assignments 2 weeks long

Regular consistent work with set rolling rotas

You must commit to working regularly each month to enable continuity of care for our clients

In this role, you'll support one individual with complex needs, working regular weekly shifts to build a consistent, trusted care team. While hours are usually stable, the position is offered on a zero-hours contract as care packages can change.
