Job summary

Active Care Group in Bournemouth is seeking a compassionate Female Live-In Support Worker to assist a gentleman in his 60s with ABI, promoting independence and quality of life in his own home. The role focuses on 1:1 support, safeguarding, and helping the client maintain an active lifestyle.

You will provide 12-hour live-in day shifts, help with medication adherence, meal planning, nutrition, risk management, and household tasks, plus walking the client's dog.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence is required.

We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and physically capable Female Live-In Support Worker to support a gentleman in his 60s who is living with an Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) following a head injury. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference by promoting independence, wellbeing, and quality of life within the client's own home.

About the role

The successful candidate will provide 1:1 support, helping the client maintain a fulfilling and active lifestyle while managing identified risks and encouraging independence. No personal care is required. The focus of the role is on promoting independence, supporting medication management, encouraging good nutrition, managing risk, and enhancing the client's overall quality of life.

When you\'ll be working

Flexible live-in assignments (typically 1–2 weeks on / off) 12 hour day shifts
