Job summary

Brook Street is seeking an experienced Registered Manager to lead a brand-new Ofsted-regulated children's residential home in Birmingham

The role involves day-to-day management, staff development, safeguarding, and regulatory compliance to deliver outstanding outcomes for children aged 8-17 with EBD. Salary £60,000-£65,000 DOE, permanent, full-time.

Qualifications

• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
• Experience within an Ofsted-regulated children's residential setting
• Strong knowledge of safeguarding and children's home regulations
• Experience supporting children with EBD
• Proven leadership and team management skills
• Full UK Driving Licence

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop staff team in a brand-new Ofsted-regulated children's home
• Ensure safeguarding and regulatory compliance across the service
• Oversee day-to-day management of the home
• Create a positive, child-centred environment to promote outstanding outcomes

We are recruiting for an experienced

Registered Manager to lead a brand-new

Ofsted-regulated children's residential home supporting young people aged 8-17 with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the registration, setup and successful launch of a new service. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the home, leading and developing the staff team, ensuring safeguarding and regulatory compliance, and creating a positive, child-centred environment that promotes outstanding outcomes for children and young people.

Requirements

• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
• Experience within an Ofsted-regulated children's residential setting
• Strong knowledge of safeguarding and children's home regulations
• Experience supporting children with EBD
• Proven leadership and team management skills
• Full UK Driving Licence
