Job summary

CareTech Community Services in Mersham is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join our service. You will provide person-centred support, assist with daily living tasks, and enable independence within a caring team.

We offer comprehensive training, DBS funded by CareTech, and opportunities for progression. This role requires flexibility for rota evenings and weekends, with strong communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Willingness to work towards Level 2 in Health and Social Care
• Ability to work unsociable hours on a rota basis
• Drivers is desired but not essential
• Enhanced DBS required (paid for by CareTech)

About the Service – Anderida

Anderida currently provides support for three gentleman with Mild LD, Mental Health and Acquired Brain Injury. The Service Users enjoy going to our Day center and Sensory Interaction.

The Role

You will:

• Work a rota including evenings, weekends, bank holidays, and sleep-ins

Who We’re Looking For

We’re seeking people who are caring, patient, and respectful, with a positive and resilient approach. You should be confident working independently and within a team, have good communication skills, basic IT and written abilities, and be flexible and reliable.

No previous experience? No problem! If you have the passion, we’ll provide full training and a structured induction programme.
