Agricultural Recruitment Specialists is recruiting for an Insurance Account Handler / Customer Service Representative in North Yorkshire. The role covers new business, renewals, policy administration and ongoing customer support in a client-focused environment.

The Job

Our client is an established independent insurance business specialising in commercial, care, farming and private client insurance. They are looking for an Insurance Account Handler / Customer Service Representative to join their friendly and professional team. This is a client focused role involving new business, renewals, policy administration and ongoing customer support.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage new business, renewals, policy changes and general client administration
• Speak with clients to understand their insurance requirements and provide suitable options
• Obtain and compare insurance quotes from insurers
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, insurers and colleagues
• Process policies, maintain accurate records and ensure documentation is kept up to date

• Organised and able to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
• Confident dealing with clients, insurers and colleagues
• Positive, enthusiastic and proactive approach to work
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a wider team
• Insurance experience would be advantageous but is not essential, as full training will be provided
• Knowledge of FCA regulations, General Insurance, CII qualifications or Acturis would be beneficial

The Package

• Salary £30,000 - £35,000 per annum DOE

Candidate Requirements

All applicants must hold a minimum of an NVQ Level 2, Scottish NVQ Level 2, or an equivalent qualification relevant to the role applied for. Candidates must also have the legal right to work in the UK or hold a valid visa permitting employment.
