Job summary

Reset Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Insurance Account Handler in the UK, based in Hove, with hybrid working after probation. You will handle policies from inception to renewal, liaising with insurers to obtain quotations and preparing quotations and documentation for clients.

You will also manage MTAs, invoicing, and FCA-compliant administration within a supportive, growing brokerage. The role offers a competitive salary of £28,000–£33,000, depending on experience, with Monday–Friday

Qualifications

• Experience as Insurance Account Handler or similar role.
• Excellent administration with strong attention to detail.
• Strong communication and client service skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage insurance policies from inception through renewal.
• Liaise with insurers to obtain quotations for new business and renewals.
• Prepare professional quotations and policy documentation.
• Process mid-term adjustments (MTAs) and policy amendments.
• Issue policy schedules, certificates and renewal documentation.
• Raise invoices and assist with premium collection and credit control.
• Respond to client enquiries by phone and email with excellent service.
• Maintain accurate records using the CRM system.
• Support Account Executives and broking team with daily administration.
• Ensure all work complies with FCA regulations and procedures.

Salary: £28k -£33k DOE + great benefit package

Location: Hove

Hours: Mon-Fri 9am-5pm

Hybrid Working: Following the successful completion of a six-month probationary period, you'll have the opportunity to work on a hybrid basis, with three days in the office and two days working from home each week.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing insurance policies from inception through to renewal.

Skills & Experience

The successful candidate will ideally have:

• Previous experience as an Insurance Account Handler, Broker Support or Insurance Administrator.
• Excellent administration and organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
• Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
• The ability to manage multiple priorities within a busy environment.
• Experience using Acturis or another insurance broking platform would be advantageous.
• Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
• A proactive, positive and team‑focused approach.
• A willingness to learn and develop within a specialist insurance sector.
