Job summary

Active8 Minds is seeking an experienced Club Manager to lead the After-school Club at Meonstoke Primary School. The role requires planning and delivering sessions from 15:00 to 18:00, ensuring a safe and engaging environment for children. You will work with a small team and maintain strong links with parents and schools.

The ideal candidate has childcare experience, excellent communication, and a calm, positive approach, with qualifications or willingness to complete training.

• Confidence supporting children and encouraging creative play.
• Relevant childcare/playwork qualifications (or willingness to complete training).

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high-quality After-school Club sessions in line with Active8 Minds’ standards, policies and procedures.
• Create a safe, healthy and secure environment. Responsibilities include completing risk assessments, administering first aid when required.
• Maintaining effective communication with colleagues, parents, and schools.
• Undertaking appropriate training, following all club policies and procedures, and efficiently managing a small team.
