Job summary

Active8 Minds is seeking a Playworker to support after‑school arts & crafts activities at Langrish Primary School. You will help children learn, grow, and thrive in a safe, exciting environment after school hours.

The role requires experience with children, strong communication, and a caring, proactive approach to fostering creative play. DBS checks are required and will be paid for by Active8 Minds.

Active8 Minds is looking for an enthusiastic Playworker (arts & crafts facilitator) to join our friendly team and help children learn, grow, and thrive in a safe, exciting environment. If you’re energetic, organised, and enjoy supporting children through play, this is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact.

Location

Langrish Primary School (must drive, unless the applicant lives locally to the school)

• 5 minute drive from Petersfield
• 15 minute drive from Borden, Liphook
• 12 minute drive from Greatham

Hours

Delivering Arts & Crafts at the After‑School Club (15:00 - 18:00 PM, must be available for these hours)

What We’re Looking For

• Experience working with children in schools or childcare
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A positive, caring, calm approach
• Confidence supporting children and encouraging creative play
• Relevant childcare/playwork qualifications (or willingness to complete training)
• Do you have experience working with Children?
