Job summary

Agincare's Hazlemere Lodge in Buckinghamshire is seeking a chef to prepare meals that meet dietary needs and bring comfort to residents in a care home setting.

You will plan menus, cook and maintain high standards of hygiene and presentation in a professional kitchen, delivering consistent quality daily.

Qualifications

• Experience in a professional kitchen and understanding of kitchen operations.
• Knowledge of IDDSI framework or experience supporting complex dietary requirements (desirable).
• Available to work day shifts and alternate weekends.

Responsibilities

• Craft delicious meals that meet individual dietary needs and create themed dining experiences.
• Support daily menus, assist in kitchen organisation, and ensure high standards of food quality, hygiene and presentation.

What is required from you

• A minimum of 12 months on your right to work
• Experience in a professional kitchen and an understanding of kitchen operations
• Knowledge of the IDDSI framework or experience supporting complex dietary requirements (desirable)
• Available to work day shifts and alternate weekends

About the role

Whether its crafting delicious meals that meet individual dietary needs, creating themed dining experiences that bring the home to life, or simply serving a favourite dish that reminds someone of home, youll be making a real difference every day. Using your culinary skills and food knowledge, youll help create daily menus, support the organisation and smooth running of the kitchen, and ensure the highest standards of food quality, hygiene, and presentation are maintained at all times.
