Octane Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Vehicle Technician to join our client's workshop near Hemel Hempstead. Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:30pm, Saturday mornings on rota.

The successful candidate will diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of vehicles in a well-run independent workshop with a great work environment for an expanding company. Qualifications

• Strong diagnostic and repair capabilities across a range of vehicles.
• Experience with automotive electrical and mechanical systems is essential.
• Ability to keep accurate service records and communicate findings to customers.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair vehicle problems, including engine, transmission, brakes, suspension and electrical issues.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations and brake inspections.
• Use diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve complex issues.
• Keep accurate records of all work performed and parts used.
• Communicate with customers about vehicle issues and repair recommendations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles. This position requires a strong understanding of automotive systems and the ability to use diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve complex problems. • We are ideally looking for technicians with Level 3 Light Vehicle Maintenance, however this is not essential
• At minimum you must have Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance and have 3 years of fulltime experience
• Applicants must have a full UK driving license
