Job summary

Perfect Placement UK Ltd is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician for a busy service centre in Weston-super-Mare. The role offers a competitive salary and benefits, with a 42.5-hour week, Monday to Friday 8:30am-5:00pm, and a rotating Saturday shift.

You will carry out servicing and repairs on cars and light vans, assist with diagnostics, and ensure work complies with safety procedures. IMI/NVQ Level 2 qualification and a full UK driving licence are required.

Qualifications

• UK driving licence with minimal points.
• Qualified to IMI/NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
• Practical experience in an automotive workshop preferred.
• Strong team player with good communication.

Responsibilities

• Carry out mechanical servicing and repairs on cars and light vans.

We are currently seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join our client’s busy automotive service centre in Weston-super-Mare. Duties of the Vehicle Technician:

• Carry out mechanical servicing and repairs on cars and light vans

• Assist with diagnostics and repairs, following manufacturer guidelines
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure efficient workflowComplete required documentation accurately and promptly as the Vehicle Technician
• Support the team in maintaining a safe and clean workshop environment

Requirements of the Vehicle Technician:

• UK driving licence with minimal points
