CBW Staffing Solutions Limited is recruiting an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a leading healthcare campus in Surrey. The role focuses on maintaining complex hospital electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, emergency power, and control systems, within a small, skilled team.

You will perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and respond quickly to faults affecting critical areas such as operating rooms, ICU, and labs, while ensuring compliance with hospital

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining hospital electrical systems and critical-care environments.
• City and Guilds 18th Edition and Level 3 electrical installations are required.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills are essential.
• Demonstrated knowledge of electrical safety policies and codes.

Responsibilities

• Maintain hospital electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, emergency power and control systems.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical panels, switch gear, transformers, and circuit breakers.
• Report issues to line manager in a timely manner.
• Escort sub-contractors around the site.
• Maintain and test emergency power systems (generators, UPS, ATS).
• Respond promptly to faults impacting operating rooms, ICU, and labs.

Electrical Maintenance Engineer - FM Service Provider - Healthcare - No Call Out - Surrey - up to £42,000

CBW Staffing Solutions are currently recruiting an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a leading healthcare campus in Surrey. This site is a modern, state-of-the-art facility with multiple specialist areas and cutting-edge equipment.

You will be part of a small, skilled team of 3 engineers who know the site inside out and will help you get up to speed quickly. The campus supports a large workforce and offers excellent amenities including multiple food outlets and break areas, ensuring you have everything you need during your working day.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive, collaborative environment, maintain complex electrical systems, and gain experience across a variety of high-tech facilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair hospital electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, emergency power, and control systems.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical panels, switch gear, transformers, and circuit breakers.
• reporting to your line manager with any issues.
• escorting sub-contractors around the site
• Maintain and test emergency power systems, including generators, UPS units, and automatic transfer switches (ATS).
• Respond promptly to electrical faults that impact critical areas such as operating rooms, ICU, and labs.
• Reactive works on air handling units, fan coil units.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance, inspections, outages, and repairs.
• Ensure all electrical installations comply with hospital policies, national electrical codes, and health care facility regulations.

Package:

• Up to £42,000
• 25 days holiday + Bank holidays

• Monday to Friday 8-5pm

Requirements:

• City and Guilds 18th Edition
• Level 3 electrical installations
• Previous experience in a hospital, medical facility, or critical-care environment preferred.
• HV or LV knowledge (not essential)
• General Knowledge of electrical systems.
