Glasgow Science Centre is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead staff across front-of-house, venues and retail operations on-site in Glasgow.

You will support the Operations Managers with daily management, supervise customer-facing teams, and act as Duty Manager for events, ensuring a fun, safe, and welcoming visitor experience.

Summary

This varied role is instrumental in line management and supervision of staff across all customer-facing areas, including front-of-house, food and beverage outlets, gallery floors (including Newton Flight Academy, Planetarium and SST), Corporate Events, Gift Shop, Car Park Operations, IMAX and Tower.

This role requires you to assist the Operations Mangers with the day-to-day management of all areas, and to act as appointed person (Duty Manager) for specific events where required.

As well as to implement the GSC Customer Service promise. Offer a fun, safe and welcoming environment to all customers and to provide an integrated, co-ordinated and professional level of service to our customers at point of contact.
