Job summary

Veolia in Fleetwood is seeking a Class 2 driver to join our team. You will drive to planned collection locations, load recycling and domestic waste, and use onboard technology to record notes.

The role requires working effectively within a team, strong communication, and prior waste experience. Responsibilities include vehicle checks, complying with traffic laws, maintaining a safe work environment, and reporting issues per company procedures.

Qualifications

• Class 2 Driving Licence is required.
• Ability to work confidently within a team environment.
• Must have good communication skills.
• Prior experience working within Waste.

Responsibilities

• Drive to planned collection locations and load recycling and domestic waste into the vehicle.
• Complete daily checks of the vehicle and use the onboard technology to complete work notes.
• Comply with all traffic laws and legislation.
• Ensure their work environment is safe and clean at all times.
• Ensure operations are carried out in a safe manner.
• Report service, safety and environmental issues.
• Ensure all accidents are documented and reported accurately as per company procedures.
• Carry out duties according to the programme of works, schedules and work instructions.

Salary: £14.71 per hour, plus Veolia benefits.
